About GabayStrand
GabayStrand is a web-based assessment tool designed to help Filipino Grade 10 students choose the right Senior High School strand. By evaluating multiple dimensions — including interests, aptitude, personality, career aspirations, and learning preferences — the tool provides a personalized strand recommendation backed by AI-generated insights.
Our Mission
Many students struggle with choosing the right academic track because they lack access to guidance counseling or personalized career assessments. GabayStrand aims to bridge that gap by providing a free, accessible, and data-driven tool that empowers students to make informed decisions about their future.
How It Works
The assessment consists of 15 carefully crafted questions spanning five key dimensions. Each answer is mapped to one or more of the seven Senior High School strands (STEM, ABM, HUMSS, GAS, TVL, Sports, Arts & Design). After completing the quiz, students receive a percentage-based match score along with an AI-powered narrative that explains why a particular strand is a great fit for them.
